Mini Album for a Recent Graduate

Graduation season has come and gone but it's never too late to gift a graduate with a special memory book that includes encouraging quotes as they face the next phase of life. A friend of mine did just that recently. Her dear niece completed her nursing degree from Temple University. She's an amazingly bright and hard working young lady with a very bright future ahead. My friend asked me to make a Kathy Orta style mini album which I created in Temple's school colors. I placed a series of 'chalkboard' style photo mats with encouraging quotes as well as some embellishments related to nursing along with a few other handcrafted elements.  There is a lot of room for photos and for journaling her favorite moments from her school days or even events after. She also has many pockets in which she can stash keepsakes like her graduation program or notes. I even included a couple of nursing themed embellishments as well as some other uniquely handcrafted elements to give the album lots of personality. Below are some photos which do not do it justice in my opinion. I had fun making this album and I love the way it turned out.
